1st day: Rio de Janeiro - Ilha Grande
In the morning pick-up at airport or hotel in Rio de Janeiro. Then we travel along the Costa Verde to Ilha Grande, arriving in the main village, Vila do Abraão, by late afternoon.

2nd day: Ilha Grande
Today you enjoy a boat tour to Lagoa Azul, with opportunity to snorkel in the crystal clear waters. On the way back, the boat stops at Praia Japariz and Praia do Amor where you have time for a walk or a swim. Return to Vila do Abraão in the afternoon.

3rd day: Ilha Grande
After breakfast you head out on a walk (moderately difficult walk). After a two-hour walk along palm-lined beaches and mangroves you reach the gorgeous beach of Lopes Mendes, a deserted stretch of white sand and crystal clear water for swimming. Return to Vila Abraão early afternoon.

4th day: Ilha Grande - Angra dos Reis - Paratí
Today we take the ferry from Vila do Abraão to Angra dos Reis and then continue to Parati, a historic colonial town. In the afternoon you enjoy a walking tour of the historic center and have some time to visit the many art galleries and artists’ studios.

5th day: Paratí
Spend the day exploring the pedestrian-only cobblestone streets of Parati and visit some of the monuments and historic landmarks.

6th day: Paratí
Today you set off by boat to enjoy the beautiful islands just off the coast of Parati. In addition to spending a lazy day tanning on the boat, there will be plenty of opportunity to swim and snorkel and visit some quiet beaches. Return to Parati by late afternoon.

7th day: Paratí - Rio de Janeiro
After breakfast transfer from pousada in Parati back to Rio de Janeiro; drop-off at airport or hotel of choice. Arrival in the early evening.
