The Amazon Forest is a real savage paradise, and being in Amazonas is feeling like being in the primordial times of the planet. The dense and stuffy jungle, still untouched in its greater part harbors utmost rich fauna and flora. This biodiversity is represented by countless kinds of mammals and more than 250 kinds of birds, besides alligators, turtles, snakes, frogs and fishes. A spectacle aside is for account of the numberless rivers, some of oceanic dimensions, which divide into igarapés, rapids and form sand banks and fluvial beaches. Maybe it is for all this that the Amazon forest always was - and continues to be - a stage of legends and mysteries, able to contaminate from the riparian dwellers to the foreigners (a constant presence in the forest). The Amazon Jungle Lodge, located at a distance of 50 Km from Manaus and constructed on a steel raft, offers comfort, safety and leisure in perfect harmony with nature, within a project ecologically planned and autonomous.
